Sassy Sara Martini

Tillman's Roadhouse restaurant has it and here is the recipe--
SASSY SARA
1 ounce (2 tablespoons) Absolut vanilla vodka
1 ounce (2 tablespoons) pineapple rum
½ ounce (1 tablespoon) fresh lime juice (see note)
½ ounce (1 tablespoon) fresh lemon juice (see note)
1 ounce (2 tablespoons) simple syrup
2 slices red jalapeño pepper
Combine all ingredients and shake with ice. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with small slices of red jalapeño. Makes 1 serving. Sounds yummy!

Cindy and Alissa went on Friday. I declined because, as Cindy puts it, I'm being "conservative". You know for me to miss an excellent meal, conservative is an understatement. Anyway, they said it was good. I'd probably still like my margaritas better, but I'm open to trying a few to determine that.

Girlllllllll, you can forget the "Sassy Sara", you want to try it "87 ways". Seriously the BEST cocktail I have ever had. Well, that may be a tad of an exaggeration, but the next time I have some Peach Bitters left around the house, I'll make my own. Yummy, yum, yum.

1 oz Tanqueray Ten Gin, 1 oz fresh L/L juice, 1 oz S/S, 1 oz apricot puree, 3 dashes of peach bitters and fresh lavender sprig. Sandwich the lavender and add all the ingredients. Shake. Served on the rocks in a collins glass. Garnish with lavender sprig.

Yes, the lavender sprig is necessary.

Apricot puree and peach bitters with lavender. I think that was a bath bomb from Lush!
